Hi everyone, I'm new to SDN so pardon any silly mistakes I make in this first post. 🙂

I need help with class selection in preparation for the DAT next summer. I am a rising sophomore with bio101, a year of gen chem, and an upcoming year of orgo. I am registered to take an Ecology&Evolution class in the fall and wanted to know if any of you recommended the following classes for the spring: Human Anatomy & Physiology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, etc. or if I should drop the Eco/Ev class and take something else.

Thanks for the feedback!

I also took an honors anatomy/physiology class in high school if that helps at all?

introduction drafting class to help with the top-front-bottom and iso view PAT section.

I disagree (sorry if you were joking), just get Crack the DAT PAT (CDP) for PAT, you don't need to take a class.

Molecular biology helped me, as well as anatomy and physiology. If the Evolution/ecology classes work towards your major then I would take them, otherwise I would drop those classes and learn those subjects on your own before you take the DAT.

What's your major?

I'm a biology major so the eco/evo class is a prereq for some later classes and a requirement for my major.

Very impressive academic record by the way, gj!

Molecular biology would help, genetics would help, and so would biochem. However, you don't need to take these courses to do well on the DAT, they just cover stuff that you will probably see (and have already seen in bio 1/2).

I would take human physiology and/or cell biology. Maybe genetics.
