What computer games do you premeds play?

Used to play WoW a lot back in the day. Had a 70 warrior in TBC and tanked for a while, got burned out real fast because I was expected to make every single raid, and our progression was slow due to our guild's crap DPS. In WotLK I played a priest, healed for a long time, loved every minute of it. I eventually quit because I couldn't balance the raid schedule with classes.

I mainly play console games now. I'm a huge Zelda fan; I have almost all the console games including Ocarina of Time: Master Quest (the water temple is a pain in that one). I like the puzzles they make you solve, and the epic feeling of beating a boss or obtaining the game's key item. Majora's mask is probably my favorite; it seemed like the hardest of them all and had the most side quests. I especially liked the love story side quest that allows you to witness two lovers exchange their vows just before the moon crashes into the earth; such a sad and happy moment in that game.
 
warcraft 3, counter strike, left4dead, and waiting for starcraft2!!! and damn guys we shouldn't be playing games, we should be studying our asses off.
 
supreme commander, l4d, cs, cod4, dead space, hl2, crysis, ...pretty much i'm a total gamer. built my own pc with 6gb RAM, 1tb HDD, crossfire dx10 vid cards...

Now with Left 4 Dead -2, team killing is more fun with melee weapons like the chainsaw!:laugh:

Also, rage quitting is why I hate versus.


Team Fortress 2 is still at the top of my list. can't seem to shake sniping with a bow & arrow

L4d, TF2, CoD4... but dammit WHEN THE HELL IS STARCRAFT 2 COMING OUTTT... actually, i'm kinda glad its AFTER august which is when I take my MCAT... or else I'd be screwed XD
 
back in the day I use to play soldier of fortune 2 competitively. Best game ever, some of the best times of my life too
 
I must be the older, outdated cousin who doesn't keep tabs on the latest happenings. The last computer game I really got into was Roller Coaster Tycoon. And before that, it was probably Oregon Trail on the old Apple computers. I'd stay on the computer during lunch just to get my fix.

I don't really play games (PC or console) these days. But I've had my Ultima Online account for forever.
 
Left 4 Dead, Starcraft, Warcraft 3 (DotA), CoD 4 & 5, and who can forget good ole' CSS.
 
Warcraft 3 - Reign of Chaos. Still play intermittently. Still good. lol

Then, my friend has Rock Band 1 and 2, and Guitar Hero 3. I destroy all of those.

Now that I have made my cocky statements of the day, time to find lunch.
 
Played the heck out of Fallout 3 ... I loved that game. I wish someone could erase my memory of playing it so I can start it over again fresh and new. sigh. I've currently been playing Oblivion IV and I occasionally still play Diablo 2. I really wish Diablo 3 had come out this summer while I had all this lovely free time to truly enjoy it before school starts. 🙁
 
So.... Which computer experts among you would like to configure a gaming laptop for me over at Alienware? My budget is $1,500, but I want it to be able to handle any game I throw at it. Possible? 😀

Yay Harvest Moon! I fell in love with that farming game on the SNES, and have played pretty much every one. It's so charming, I hope they make a good nextgen one!

I bought a PS3 recently, played GTA4 and Valkyria Chronicles. Might try MGS4 next, it's only 20$. And it apparently has a plot only smart cookies like premeds can understand lol.

No, they just don't make games as good as they used to haha. Current games that I'm playing are Starcraft (I JUST started it for the first time...I'm a bit behind), and Final Fantasy: Ring of Fates for the DS.

WoW. I play over the summers, and quit during the fall and spring for school. So far, it has worked out pretty well, and my academics are not suffering.
 
I await the day when macs can play games like CS: Source, etc. But luckily SC2 runs on mac, too!
 
To be honest, I've always thought I was weird to still be playing so much video games as a premed student. I mean I thought entering in college that I would find so many people to LAN with but not many people play except WoW.

I've beaten a ton of games since I entered college since I usually play through them non-stop until I beat them.

Right now:
L4D, exteel, battleforge, WC3 (dota), Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, Galactic Civilizations 2, tom clancy hawx
 
I just reinstalled Diablo 2, why do I do this to myself?
 
played a lot of cssource and wc3 freshman year. now i don't even have them.
