Next time I am in Germany, I shall try! That one, and my avatar are my personal favorites. I didn't even think there was a color copy of that monks/ruined cloister in existence; I thought it was destroyed when the Allies bombed Berlin . . . But yeah, way cool that someone else out there knows and likes Friedrich!

Congrats morris121 on Jeff and Hawaii! I am still waiting on my UH decisions. They must have really loved you. I haven't heard of too many acceptances that they handed out early excepe ED applicants. Where are you thinking of going? I am torn already and I am still waiting on 3 decisions!
 
Got a pre-interview hold from Albany. I was figuring that they'd either send me an interview invite or a rejection with it being so late in the season. 😕

Hey, thanks a lot - and congratulations to you too on Jefferson!

Regarding JABSOM, I applied in November, actually (not ED). Dr. Izutsu said (in my interview) that it's a scoring system. Each ADCOM member gives you a score (secret ballot) and they just go down the list that way in April. However, if you average 9.0/10 or higher, you are accepted right away, he said. I had super nice interviewers, which I think is like 99% of the reason I was accepted!

I'm really excited about both schools, actually! I don't know if I'm leaning one way or another. Both have very different strengths, so it will be a tough call!

For those of you who are wondering, I was expecting something today. I was expecting to get a decision letter from U of L. Alas I must wait until Monday to find out. I'm trying really hard to not to think about it. But it is really hard not to when you are going to graduate in little over a month and have no idea what you are going to be doing.............yeah..........i just hope I can get job
 
2 rejection letters (1 post-interview, 1 pre-interview)...it sucks👎 👎 😡 🙁
 
on saturday I got a rejection from Suny Upstate. I was on a pre-interview hold.
 
A hold pre-interview from Albany...its March and they are placing me on HOLD! how ridiculous can this get?
 
I received an alternate position at U of L.......🙁

well it is better than being rejected👍

there is still some hope.......a very thin fine thread, but still hope none the less

A pre-interview rejection from Morehouse. At least they bougt a stamp and got my name right.
 
Yale rejection (pre-interview). My excel spreadsheet just keeps getting smaller and smaller.
 
A cheap email rejection from Penn. How nice of them to bold and highlight in red the "Not Accepted" status. At least Pitt showed me some Pennsylvania love to fall back on 🙂

I received LLU pre interview rejection a couple days ago.
This process is so good at making us feel like the biggest losers ever.
oh well. there is next year. class of 2012 here i come 😳

Just out of curiosity, when did you interview in Hershey?

I got rejected pre-interview from Tulane (was expecting it, but seriously... if we know it's coming, just send the darned letter already!).
 
I received my 13th rejection letter: Yale!

No big suprise there. And, for an added bonus, they had the common courtesy to actually entitle the letter to me instead of "Dear Applicant", unlike most medical schools. 🙄 😀
 
I received a call from the Dean at the Phoenix campus for the University of Arizona. I was accepted the Tucson campus and put on the waitlist for Phoenix, but the dean called to tell me I am 4 or 5 on the list and I will most likely get into Phoenix. Now I am undecided about where to attend again. 😕

I am sorry but this made me laugh so hard. How in the world does something like this happen? Do people get interviews/ acceptances too to places they don't apply to? Sorry about your unexpected rejection email.

That's hilarious! I didn't know Loyola was still interviewing though. I thought most of their class was full.

I was never invited to interview. I received an e-mail today with a reasonably gentle "sorry, just too many excellent candidates this year" message. Thanks for the sympathy. It helps.
 
Reject from SUNY buffalo. I was an "intermediate" candidate and apparently was moved down to the "rejection" list. Anyone who got that letter will understand. Kinda harsh.
 
Rejection from Univer of Vermont via status page...pre-interview🙁 I was in the 'pile that might recieve an interview' since forever
