i really don't understand why people are having a hard time deciding if they should call to find out X or Y or B etc etc.


what could possibly be wrong with you calling to find out the status of your app?😕

When was your interview with Pitt? Mine was Dec 1st, but I haven't heard anything from them since then
 
I haven't received an official letter of acceptance from Pitt yet. However, when I checked infosource today, what I saw was "Offer Made". TGIF

I was there on Dec. 7th..They updated infosource.
 
I received an email from UDM saying that they were trying to contact me by phone but my line was busy. Are you on-line? $hit, I just interviewed there, I wonder what she was try to call me for. Do they call to tell people that they have been denied?

Rejection from UPenn...thats cool...their tuition is incredibly high anyways! No hard feelings!

I received the 2nd of approximately 13 or 14 rejection letters that I will receive in the near future.

This one, courtesy of CASE.

Called Buffalo day after my interview they told me im in.. :clap:
 
I called them back this morning, but the lady was not in for another two more hours. They will call me in three hours from now. I am hoping it is good news. I do not want to hear her say, "ha, you been rejected; in your face fool!" Thanks for the concern. I will update my status

ALRIGHT BABY!!!! Early Xmas gift today!! My first ever acceptence to NYU!!!!!! Even though it is not my first choice, its VERY VERY VERY nice to know that no matter what I will be a doctor and will be in dental school next year!

To all my Under 3.0 brothers and sisters....It can be done....I hope we will all be celebrating in the near future!

For Comet, here are my stats:

GPA: 3.14

Dat: 20/20/17 (AA, Sci, PAT)

Pretty low stats, but only in my first year I had horrible marks...so there was an upward trend in my senior years, especially in the sciences. After this year, I will realistically probably have a Sci-GPA of 3.1 and overall GPA of 3.3. But Ill never forget my roots in the Under 3.0 Club.

To Ohcdn...yah seriously dude, we are having a parallel application. We got NYU at around the same time, and hopefully we will have Temple as well.

Finally, after all the waiting, I got something from schools.
I received the letter from USC saying that I am at the third and most critical level of review. I think a couple people here got this, may I ask if those people have their interview yet?

Also, got a package from UPenn, but not an interview invitation.
 
Got a letter from USC saying I'm now at the 2nd stage of application review processing. Woopie.
 
I have never received my letter about the 2nd stage from USC.
I wonder if the mail got lost or something.
Does anyone know how USC send out their interview invitation? Through email or letter or phone?

This is a bit awkward. I just received a letter stating my application is complete from MeHarry and that is has been forwarded to the admission committee for review, but two week ago I was rejected from MeHarry? I think they forgot to send my application complete letter.
 
i don't know if it was Meharry or Howard, but something like that happened to someone else too. he was told he was rejected, but then accepted later.

i don't know why, but i know these things do happen.
 
Maybe they take special delight in messing with the applicant's head. :laugh:
 
rejection from Arizona....one of my first choices....but Im still banking on Temple which has become my first choice now (or maybe Tufts...I'll have to wait and see)

I dont understand why Arizona wouldnt give me a chance! They are a school based on public health, and I have so much experience and dedication to entering the public health field....I even updated them about my work including the fact that Im now volunteering with the International Health Centre at the University of Toronto and I have an internship in Costa Rica doing health policy research in the summer. Plus, I know lots about current events and geography, so I would be able to answer all their interview questions with ease! I talked with some people from interviews who interviewed at Arizona and they told me they couldnt answer the interview questions, and that they had no intentions of going into public health. They hated Arizona after their interview!

Is my 3.15 GPA and 20 AA really different from someone with a 3.4-3.5! I thought my experience and dedication would have at least gotten me an interview at Arizona....oh well...Its their loss! Their hockey team sucks anyways! 😀

ok this was a tough one.

got an email from UCLA.
it says, this email is to let you know that your app hasn't been reviewed. we'll let you know if anything changes. also wanna let you know that we review and interview until late March.


nice to hear that.

got the same email from UCLA. I have been told they do tend to lag behind others.

I hope this isn't bad news.
