I had an interview at university of miami in november. I got back a letter saying i was
not accepted, rejected, or put on a wait list. Instead i received a letter saying i was
deferred from a decision until probably may. I am disapponted, since this is my number
one choice. I have never heard of this. Is this a suspenful NO, or some type
of wait list. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Seems like Miami has deferred a lot of peeps this year. I dunno what the deal is. Wish they'd be more direct with either an acceptance, rejection, or waitlist. None of this "deferred" semantics BS.
