I had a client who was a college cheerleader, and every exercise I'd have her do, she would make it look "cheerleader-y". Every movement was really stiff, and she had this huge smile on her face all the time, even when she was in pain, and she would always wink at me. I thought that was weird until I learned that it was some cheerleader thing.

No need to apologize. I was just observing...tons of friends are sisters. It's funny how a simple phrase can totally alter the focus of a conversation. A friend of mine was a KD at UT and I've sat back and lmao at her a few times. My best friend was at Ole Miss. Same thing but you have the Ole Miss factor which compounds any conversation altering that is going to happen. Especially in Nashville.

Thanks, prions. We did the lipid extractions from S. aureus over the last couple of weeks and I'm trying to figure some way to make it interesting. Nothing like procrastination.

All I can tell you is that bacterial membrane lipids use a similar bonding mech as euk's, that being a gycerol backbone with ester bonds.

It's supposed to be corrective. How they explained it is that they would be moving his eye muscles forward to where they need to be. Not all of them of course. That way they can't move as far as they do. I had my husband call to try to talk to the doctor (he wasn't at the appointment and I was kind of in shock) and ask the questions he has but the woman told him to ask at the next appointment which we haven't scheduled yet. I'm supposed to schedule the pre-op appointment in the next week.

Yeah I'm inclined to think the doctors are right. It's just hard to think about someone cutting in my baby boy's eyes. I had my tonsils out at 20 so I can totally understand. The orthoptist(?), I don't remember if that's what he was, said he had it when he was younger and that my son might be groggy afterwards but should be playing just like normal.

hahaha the best part was, when I was in college, I tended to get bored at parties and wander off to see what else was going on... so I wandered off to a "normal" party, wearing that. With a metallic blue cape, which had been a toga the weekend before.

And yes, I'll go out with you, if gasapple won't have me. I don't usually go for chicks, but she's just so pretty.

I'm so glad that you said this because as I'm reading the three pages that have been added to this thread since I left my computer a couple of hours ago, I keep thinking I'm going to have to be the dork that admits that I am a scifi addict and that fifi is standing with at least two cast members of Eureka (Carter and Zoe in the show).

Yeah, we have all of the SG-1 and Atlantis seasons on DVD, although I haven't gotten the first of the SG-1 movies that I guess came out a few weeks ago. I also have been getting into the new Dr. Who, I used to watch the old ones with my dad when I was little. We have a DVR full of Atlantis and Dr Who right now though because I don't have time for TV much.
