I always have to sing out loud to that song. Love it.
How can you not?! That will always be one of my all-time favorites! That whole cd is amazing...it is a must for long road trips!

Girl, I'll buy you your own pedi-egg! I'm afraid you might wear mine out with those beautiful feet of yours.![]()
I go to UTA and work for Careflite.
Sorry, I think it is sort of ingrained you don't where a sorority shirt every other day (everyday at time) for four years without something mentally happening
I was also a cheerleader and I still will hear certain words that set me off into a cheer, sort of a pavlovs dog response
sad really, sad
My trainer gets so pissed at me for this. He'll push the hell out of me. Smile doesn't usually break. And I'm usually laughing at him for some reason or another. He's told me a couple of times that it is okay to cuss him out. That it's not supposed to be enjoyable.she had this huge smile on her face all the time, even when she was in pain, and she would always wink at me.
Okay, my study break has lasted WAY too long. You guys are distracting! Hopefully by the next time I'm taking a break...none of you will still be awake! Back to studying Micro...🙁
We'll try again.
P.S. The doctor says he thinks my son needs eye surgery. 🙁
Look out, is that Sylar in the middle?!
And maybe Bishop on the far right?
Hiro popped in on the left for a brief second...
I'll study your micro if you'll write this intro for me. Know anything about S. aureus lipids?
Important for the electron transport chain/system and I remember learning about the differences in lipid synthesis in anaerobic vs. aerobic bacteria. That's all I got, sorry. 😳
Oh no! Why?
All I can tell you is that bacterial membrane lipids use a similar bonding mech as euk's, that being a gycerol backbone with ester bonds.I'll study your micro if you'll write this intro for me. Know anything about S. aureus lipids?
I've had the word doc in the background since oh about 8:30. Not much progress. Okay. I won't lie. No progress. Zip. The paper is BLANK! And Starbucks was closed when I got there so now I'm looking at 2 full throttles and a long night. I need ya'll here to keep me awake. K. thnx.

He has this thing where one of his eyes will wander off to the side (both of them do it). It's been getting better with the eye drops but he said compared to other kids my son's control is poor. My husband wants to ask more questions though to see if there are any alternatives but we have to wait until the pre-op appointment. 🙁
Okay unless I'm delusional the guy second from the right isn't James Denton, it's the guy from Eureka. Where did you meet these people fifi?
I'm sorry to hear that! What would the surgery accomplish? Would it be an exploratory thing or corrective?
I wasn't gonna say anything hehe. But yeah, that's the guy from Eureka. 🙂
I used to do a lot of work for a company that puts on comic/scifi conventions. A few weeks ago I got to meet Adam West and George Takei!
...I'm going to miss those shows when I'm in school.
It's supposed to be corrective. How they explained it is that they would be moving his eye muscles forward to where they need to be. Not all of them of course. That way they can't move as far as they do. I had my husband call to try to talk to the doctor (he wasn't at the appointment and I was kind of in shock) and ask the questions he has but the woman told him to ask at the next appointment which we haven't scheduled yet. I'm supposed to schedule the pre-op appointment in the next week.
aww I'm sorry EEL. But look at it this way: if he has to have it now, even though it will suck for you, he won't remember it too much when he's older and he'll thank you for having it done, if he truly needs it. The closest thing I can compare it to is having my tonsils out at 21 when the doc wanted them out when I was 8. Man, I cursed my parents for waiting! 😱
I guess I'll join in on the party
Here is a pic from last summer at work

hahaha the best part was, when I was in college, I tended to get bored at parties and wander off to see what else was going on... so I wandered off to a "normal" party, wearing that. With a metallic blue cape, which had been a toga the weekend before. If Prions wont go out with me at school, will you go out with me? But only if you wear the wtf outfit. Its hawt... 😀

I quite possibly have the best summer job ever. I work at a marina in the city I grew up in. It's a lot of laying around in the sun, guitar hero, and hanging out with boaters, with occasional work (pumping gas and tying people up).
O, I'm 6'7" by the way, go big or go home I tell em 😉
Wow you're 17 inches taller than me!! Guess I better go home then. 😉

I'm so glad that you said this because as I'm reading the three pages that have been added to this thread since I left my computer a couple of hours ago, I keep thinking I'm going to have to be the dork that admits that I am a scifi addict and that fifi is standing with at least two cast members of Eureka (Carter and Zoe in the show).

My husband is actually of a scifi addict but since we've been married I've been watching a lot of shows with him. Eureka is a great show but also Stargate SG-1 (RIP) and Stargate-Atlantis.

Hahahaha, I remember watching Friends while I was living in Germany and thinking.... Thats not what Joey sounds like when he says, "How you doin? 😉". The meaning gets so lost in translation, it just doesnt come across right. Still funny though. 😆OOOOOOH i love stargate, isn't that the show where they go through that ring. I watch re-runs on Greek TV whenever i'm in Greece... its like after Friends.
