What exactly is the "volunteering value" of this?

I'm a recreation therapist working with continuing care and palliative care patients, and the goal is to improve their quality of life through mentally/physically stimulating activities.

I currently do 2 hours a week and hope to have about 4 years in total by the time I apply (I started back in high school).
So is it worth it to try and get as many hours as possible or should I just stay at the 2 hours/week ?

I do have a lot of other ECs (mainly athletic).

Seems like some patient interaction, but I would be sure to get something more clinical as well.

Sounds clinical to me. I do something similar and have been told I should get some good shadowing in to make sure I'm aware of what happens in other settings, but what I had was OK.

I would have some other clinical exposure too. Nothing too fancy just normal hospital volunteering, like 60ish hours atleast.
Well what I do is in a hospital :S

So I guess shadowing is the only thing left to do that is clinical.
