Does anyone have any idea?

I have lived in CA for about two years attending school. I have received my permanent residency (green card) about 6 months ago.

However, I will be in Georgia starting this August until I receive acceptance letters. Once I get accepted to a CA school, I hope to move back to CA.

Of which state am I a resident of when I apply this cycle?

I lived in Korea before that...
So I have no residency status on any State? even though I have a permanent residency status (green card)? sigh....
I thought that if you are over 24 years old and you live in one place for more than a year you get residency status of that place.

Financial independence is only for people that are over 18 and under 24.. did i miss something?
It's so confusing.

the one year clock begins after you receive your green card

So, I got a reply from UCLA.
I told them my life history pretty much.. and they said they will consider me as a california resident for application purposes, however, for tuition, they will have to recheck with the registrar's office.

So YAY! Will have that little edge of being a CA resident.
