I've had my share of animosity towards vets for what seemed like taking advantage of my love for my dogs/cats, but what seems like them ripping you off really comes out to them making about 20 dollars an hour a lot of the time..

Off-topic answer... the dean of a vet school led me to believe that they're desperate for guys in vet school. Plus, I can get into a vet school without trying. Too bad I don't like animals.
