What legal topics should we learn about?

Hi all - I've been thinking about researching and publishing on legal aspects of anesthesia and medicine. I'm curious if you all have any ideas... what legal topics would you want know to know more about (in anesthesia, medicine, or otherwise)?

FWIW I'm a practicing anesthesiologist and bar-admitted but non-practicing lawyer.

What I'd like to know: was it worth going to law school? Were you planning on practicing? Was it worth the tuition, seems like it'd be stimulating to take night/side classes; I would want to practice law if I went however.
