What Practice Materials to Use

Hey Everyone,

Aside from the EK 101 Verbal passages (which i finished studying for the mcat previously), what practice verbal passages do you all suggest for studying for the MCAT? Berkley Review?

Furthermore, what do you all think about EK's 1001 Q's in GenChem and Physics? I know that they are not MCAT syle (unless you just look at them as discretes) but are they helpful in terms of the type of discretes and peudo-discretes that the MCAT may ask? I was thinking of buy the BR books in GenChem and Physics just for the passages but I think that would be the most wise thing to do since EK's seem to make you nail down the concepts. Thanks and I really appreciate the input and advice!

Besides EK 101, TPRH Verbal Workbook is a good choice. The only other real option is BR Verbal which is decent at best. Since you finished EK 101, I suggest getting both TPRH and BR.

As you mentioned, the non-Bio EK 1001 books are good for nailing down concepts. However, you must take practice passages which you'll get with BR.
