I am planning on applying this cycle, during Spring/Summer 2018. I'm graduating this spring and will be taking a gap year.
To establish Texas residency, would I be considered independent if I was dependent on my parents for ~6 months, but earned enough for the next 6 months so that I provided over 50% of my support between October 2017 - October 2018?
