Many interviewers will either start or end the interview with "do you have any questions for me?" Any ideas what exactly to ask? I feel like they answer so many questions during the interview day that I struggle with coming up with something unique.

You don't have to worry about being overly unique. The main thing would be to ask questions that show you're interested in the school and have done outside research into it. Questions about a new building they're planning or what they think of the new problem-based learning format starting the next year show that you cared enough to find that stuff out. Just pick through the school's website and find stuff you actually have questions on or would like to hear an opinion about. Don't worry if you're not the first person to ask it.

My interviewers responded well to "what brought you here?" It gives them a chance to talk about themselves and their journey into medicine and takes the heat off of you for a bit.

schools will always have something unique about them. do some research on their website before you go on your interview.

i always asked about student run community service projects or if schools had an international health track.

surely, you have a reason you applied to the schools that you did. remember what it is and tailor your questions about the school to your interests. more than likely something will be brought up through the course of the tour or your interview itself that you want clarified as well.

I've found a good way to come up with questions is by talking to current students and asking them what they like/dislike about the curriculum...

So, in that vein Jolie South...what do YOU like about Baylor? 😉 I'm headed Houston-wards next Thursday.

in short, everything. 🙂

but seriously, there really isn't anything i don't like about the school. the Texas Medical Center is amazing. my classmates are cool. the faculty is super supportive. class is only from 8-12. we also have an innovative curriculum -> 1.5 years preclinical, 2.5 years in clerkships.

Nice! So, DrCio, I might ask questions about how students tend to spend their extra clerkships (are there particularly popular options?), if students feel that the extra time in clerkships helps them to decide on a specialty choice, etc.

Actually, I need to be reading up on Baylor so I can make sure my questions are intelligent. Also, DrCio, you can ask interviewers if they would elaborate on things you've read in the MSAR/on the school website.

Yay, I'm so glad you enjoy Baylor, Jolie South. I'm looking forward to visiting. I have friends in Houston so it'll be a nice reunion 🙂
