Hello everyone,

I am a current Biochem. undergrad student and I got into this career just because I like chemistry. I am a junior now, and I still don't know what I want to do after my undergrad. I don't even know my options. I know this is a very vague and a stupid question, but can someone tell me what are the different types of schools that I can go to after my degree? Medical, pharmacy or grad? Are there any others? Please mention.

Thanx

because I like chemistry.

The majority of pharmacy jobs are in retail where you will actually use little to no chemistry in practice. You are better off getting a grad degree in pharmacology.

Your job prospects are limited as a biochem major, and even as a pharmacy school grad as the field becomes more and more saturated each year. I would switch gears completely and go for computer science, engineering, finance, accounting, etc. for better job prospects, pay, and quality of life with less schooling and student debt.

A degree in Biochemistry is useful for any life science/health fields. Sounds like you should visit your college's advisor.

Continual threads like these painfully illustrate how undergraduate, college education has become aimless outside of them collecting your tuition.
