11 schools, but I just withdrew my application at UCSF, so 10. I only really care about a few of them, though I don't have the luxury to be picky, few do...

BTW, multiply the % by 100, and that's a pretty good estimate of the number of applicants per school, I think. ~40% of people applied to UoP, I think there will be about 4000 applicants for that school this year (for a little over 100 seats, yikes!)

horrible way to look at admission stats. yes, using the very primitive estimation method, assuming there were 4000 or so applicants, all of them will have also applied to additional schools. the best, optimistic way to look at it is that 50%, if not more, of all applicants get into dental school.
