It seems several of my professors like to inject pictures of themselves travelling to really cool places in their lectures. I imagine this is not a local phenomenon.

So, do you get to live vicariously through your professors? If so, where have they been?

Mine so far:

Mount Everest
Great Wall of China
Canadian Glaciers

yet another reason to avoid lectures and spend time actually getting work done...

our professors don''t do this, but our OMM fellows do it enough for the entire faculty. mostly of their dogs and random places like a park.
