So I am trying to get organized for the Step 1 and was wondering what are the best books to get to learn that will be the best bang for my time (high yield)?

I am thinking:

First Aid 2009

Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple

Goljan Rapid Review Pathology

High Yield Behavioral Science (is there a lot on the test?)

Princeton Review Step 1 (anyone use this?)

I recommend the First Aid Organ System and The Usmle World. I studied from them and from the Kaplan DVD lectures and got a 99. I have the DVD and if you need them I can sell them to you.

The essential texts you will need can be found here.

Any extra books you will need, but aren't necessary, will be found here.

Peace
