I thought if CN 4 -SO- gets lesioned then you get eye turning up not down and out? lol.. If it's down and out that would be CN 3? I don't know if this is right. I'm getting more confused now.

If CN 3 gets damaged then the eye goes down an out because the only one still working is SO, CN 4.

CN4 injury leaves them with a hypertropia and externally rotated eye.

Can present with a head tilt contra lateral to affected side. (And chin tilt)
