Which sound is S1/S2

I seem to be getting tripped whenever there's a question with heart sound. Is the diastolic heart sound the higher pitched sound? How do you tell which is which? Thanks.

If you have a stethescope, try listening to your chest to get acquainted with the actual sound. Otherwise I'm pretty sure S1 is systolic and higher-pitched. I haven't gone through that part yet, so someone else should probably confirm.
