White Coat Emroidery w/ PhD?

How about I hand-stitch “RN” onto mine so that EVERYONE can cringe hard enough to need an oral surgeon?

Rotated with a few UCLA students that were MD/PhD that earned the PhD before beginning their 3rd year. Also had a chiro with a DC in my class. Many MS and MPH classmates and people in rotations. Nobody used extra letters on short coat. I would strongly advise against using any degree on your short coat, but by all means, put it on when you get to residency. It's not only about the fellow med students, but I can see a scenario where a preceptor could expect more from someone with a PhD and grade you more harshly when you perform equally to your non-PhD peers.
