Why are adcoms such a tease?

Every adcom I've called has said that I would be competitive w/my stats for an interview, and yet, no interviews to date. granted most of my secondaries went out last week and the week before, but i really would like to hear something positive from one of my top choices (pcom, njmd, ccom, unecom)... i mean my team is out of the playoffs, im jobless, just give me some love 😉

You just have to be patient.

Certainly give it more time than a week or two. Some schools are simply slower; they get hundreds/thousands of applications and have to sift through each one thoroughly. They will come, don't worry!

i feel your pain. last year i was waitlisted at a (nameless) DO school and never got off. When i called, they said, apply earlier (i didn't apply last year until around feb or so). They led me to think it was all bad timing. so this year I applied earlier, and just got the rejection a couple of weeks ago. my app wasn't even cold on their table yet! so i stopped the check and probably ruined all future contact with the school, but oh well. it felt good stopping the check.

I have the pinge to withdraw from [unnamed]COM just bc they had the audacity to put me on academic hold and not send me a secondary with a 3.24 cum. I mean c'mon your school is _ years old and my MCAT is 9-10 above your average and my GPA is only 0.2 below it. 🙄

i couldn't tell if u were rolling eyes at me (the OP) or the school. anyway, i've ended the interview drought. got invited to interview at LMUDCOM in TN. gl to all!
