Hi,
So when you choose the schools you want to apply to in AACOMAS how come for West Virginia School of Medicine it doesn't say "Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine" and instead says WVSOM? Also instead of having DO next to it it like the other schools it says "doctorate"? If we attend WVSOM do we earn different credentials?

LOL. WVSOM will give you a D.O after your name if you graduate from their school. Dont worry about it. Worry about how you might be paying $50k, if youre OOS.

Some admin type was trying to be all fancified and whatnot. Welcome to the new world order, where confidently using the wrong word - or ten words when one will do - is the rule rather than the exception, and no one knows how or when to use commas and apostrophes correctly.
