Will 1-2 C's kill my chances of acceptance? I am applying to UIC, SIUe, Midwestern, and LECOM. What do you think? The rest of my grades are mostly As and a couple Bs.

Im pretty sure Im getting a C in organic chemistry 1, unless a miracle happens and I get a high B or an A on the final exam. I also have a C in physics. Ive never had anything below a B, mostly A's, my gpa is almost a 3.7 (prior to this semester). Also, maybe they will keep in mind, this semester was pretty hard for me, I took Physics 1 (C), organic chem 1(C?), Anatomy and physiology 2(B), and Trig (A). PLUS I work 20-25 hours per week as a pharmacy technician.
You should be fine just try to do better in O-Chem 2...I got in with a C in Physics I and O-Chem I so I wouldn't worry, as long as you have a trend of academic improvement from then on...
Even for applying for this coming admission class Fall of 2007? I hope they don't look at me and say "SLACKER" because I can see it now......🙁
it shouldnt kill ur chances...i have 3 C's (one in my 3rd quarter of ochem...the other 2 in bio classes) and 7 interviews and got into 1 school so far.

from which university in cali did you get the Cs in???
I got 1 D and 3 C's in my science courses and my counselor said "change your major now!"
I secretly wanted to tell him to go to hell because he didn't know my story behind the D and C's. But now I'm afraid the admission committee will feel the same way without giving me any slack. I gave my essay to this english teacher and she said it sounds like "a crybaby kind of essay" when I was explaining my pass dilemmas.
I don't know what to do! I guess I will have to waste another year repeating those courses.
What is your overall GPA?
