hi, everyone, I need some help over here
I took PCAT test about 3 days ago, and when i came to
reading comprehension section, my time ran short ,
and when the supervisor said time is over, put the pen down,
i didn't put it down right away, instead , i continued for
about a brief split second ----- to fill in 4 or 3 ovals in the answer
sheet randomly ( i picked C for all 4) !, while i was doing that, i took
notice that the supervise shaking her head, totally upset,,,
i knew that i did something stupid,, so when i finished all sections, whole test
i went up to her and asked how bad that was,, the only thing
she told me was "what was done cannot be undone, and I continued when she called me to stop" , i realized how serious ,it was,
when i was done making my case, i called pearson right away, the representative told me i should wait for a day or two for the report to get to pearson,, stupidly , i bought into that..
so i spent the following a day or two being depressed very much,
then i got to call pearson two days later, this time they told me there's no way i could find out aoubt the report, not until 6 weeks later,
I felt like being duped, but I can't do nothing,
so i have to turn to you guys for help,, have any of you guys, been through this before,, the thing is I don't care what score i gonna get for this one, as long as i get a score,,, do i really have to spend another 6 weeks being miserable, people in pearson told me "indeed, deal with it",
what do you guys think,,?? thank you so much🙂

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Its an issue but not a serious one that will get your score cancelled compared to cheating and going back to a previous section. It's not like you did it on every section and you weren't the only one to do it. You can make an argument that you were fully focused on the test and the proctor didn't speak loud enough.

But what you should have done was be nonchalant about it when she saw you and not walk up to her addressing it any further.

That's just my opinion.

Did you watch the Pearson test simulation video where the girl continued filling the ovals after the proctor said stop. She just got a loud warning that her scores will be cancelled if she did that again. So I don't think you should worry. But I would probably be freaking out if I was you, but yeah, its not a big deal.

My testing center had country music blasting from a school event while we were testing. What is Pearson gonna do about that? Why do they have to punish test takers and not their proctors or testing centers admin?

I definitely watched it, and I did freak out, but I got myself togetther just so I could
got through chem and math,,

I for one think they should announce 30 seconds so everyone can fill in extra blanks. 5 minutes is not good enough and as soon as I hear 5 minutes I went into panic mode and it's not east to judge 5 minutes at all!

I think I would have wet myself right then and there....
along with everyone else, i think you should be fine....but geez that line is scary...

i know, tell me about it
Not to be a jerk, but why would you do this, anyway? It's not like other people didn't already put their pens down. It's the equivalent of cheating by taking more time than everybody else. I would have been miffed if I'd been at your testing location.
