Would being a diet aide improve my app? I'm lacking in clinical experience and being a diet aide seems a feasible way to make money and obtain experience interacting with patients. Does it count as clinical experience or would med schools not look at it like that?

"Reheats and serves food trays to patients. Stocks service areas, prepares and serves snacks and performs other general duties. Assists in the distribution, collection and preparation of patient menus. Performs a variety of routine kitchen duties as assigned."

-That's what the job description says, so there is some patient interaction, but theres not a ton of it. I could also maybe help patients chose their meals.

This is clinical. Make sure to emphasize any patient interactions you have working as a diet aid and not on how good/bad the food smelled.
