I am contemplating of saving a hundred dollars by missing 2-3 classes

Yes, no question. I'd talk to professors and make sure it worked out, but it's not too much work for good savings. Think about it...all other things being equal, you spend what, 3 hours of effort to save $100? That's a good hourly rate imo.
