Unfortunately, I do not have any new info or other news to share at this point 🙁 Thanks to those who have kept me company via PM, sorry I can't respond 🙁 I was told by someone that I was cleared last night by the GCPD badge (an investigative item, I assume) and if that person would like to come on and verify that they cleared me they certainly can, and then hopefully you all can information with me more confidently. That's all for today, until tomorrow!

That's interesting, because I had the GCPD badge N1 and didn't use it on you. So either there are multiple badges, there's one tied to a role, or whoever told you lied (or is unknowingly passed bad info). I'm inclined to think that you were lied to/got bad info.

I'm inclined to believe that there are multiple badges rather than wolves behind this. Why would a wolf want to clear someone? Their goal is to get villagers lynched, not help them prove their innocence. In any case, if you don't have the badge anymore, do you mind saying who you investigated?

Wolves can "clear" other wolves or "clear" people that make good conversion targets later...so there can be motives behind it. I dunno what the motive would be in this case, though, and it's pretty early for dead people to be running around causing chaos.

I don't think we've had a game with multiple items of the same name yet (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). And it doesn't make much sense to me... which is why I don't think it's as likely. But I guess I wouldn't put it past the mods

Good points definitely. Well, if the "investigator" comes forward maybe we can figure it out. But if they really do have the badge, then they probably shouldn't come forward until they lose it - that way they're not wolf bait for the time being.

Okay, I'm finally caught up and in. Sorry about the avatar, but I wasted about two hours trying to find a way to get a ggod one using my iPad, and I'm failing, and I can't be bothered to fire up my lappy.

I don't have any information. I have one suspicion, but I'm sitting on it in the short term, because I don't have a good baseline reading of suspiciocity just yet on account of being a non native in a strange forum.

Good game so far, mods—you're giving us some confusing obstacles to deal with.

Can the vote rigging be a mob function? Is there a crime syndacate working to fix things here?

Another night in Gotham and the citizens remain vigilant. The bat signal is lit over the city - there are always clouds on cue in Gotham. As if in response, a manly batwoman is seen speeding off around the city. A cloud of gas lingers over part of the city.

Shortnsweet was seen partying too hard after an exam and was sent to jail for public intoxication. She is soon joined by kaydubs who was mysteriously tied to a well-lit telephone pole not 1 mile from the GCPD.

Amidst the confusion, hedgiehog, a citizen, is found face down in a fountain by city hall, coins glittering around her bloated body.

Unless other news comes out, I'm going to go ahead and say lynch kaydubs for now. I'm willing to change if other people have info, but this feels like the most solid wolf evidence so far this game.

Also, I'm pretty sure nyanko's fear is due to the Scarecrow's fear gas. I just noticed "a cloud of gas" in the write-up, so I'm definitely thinking that's what that is.

No idea. Maybe the bat cuffs have to do with that? Like maybe the item's power is to incapacitate someone in a way that Batman would? The person I talked to about them only got them last night, so they could have been used on kaydubs. Just brainstorming, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

For now I'm sticking with the lynch, though I do feel kinda icky because it seems like kaydubs probably can't defend herself. If someone did use the bat cuffs on her, maybe they should come forward, because I'd hate to lynch someone just because they had an item used on them.
