Day 4 Lynch Write-up:
Have any of you noticed how many similarities there are between noobs and children.
* Both of them are naive.
* Both of them are mostly ignorant.
* Both of them make a lot of noise and talk a lot.
* Both of them have elders that they mostly ignore.
* Both of them have rules that they often break.
* Both of them will one day grow up and (hopefully) be better than they are now.
* Both of them have very short attention spans, and are easily distracted.
* Both of them have no idea what they really want to do.
* Both of them can be adorable or annoying to their elders at the same time.
* Both of them don't even know what they don't know.
* Both of them have lots of energy and mean well (for the most part).
* Some times, you just want to shake some sense into both of them.
Just thought you should keep some of those similarities in mind as you go through your WW lives.
Anyway, today, in a marathon of posting (over 650 posts since night results were posted. For reference we just had a veteran WW game that went 450 posts for the ENTIRE game- i mean, that sucked, but still...) there was craziness from start to finish. Just for chuckles, lets review some of what happened in today's discussion for those of you who need a cliff notes version....
Page 28: results are discussed, Cam accuses caiter of being a wolf seer. Caiter says no.
Page 29: Caiter being Grimm is discussed. The existence of a message from someone claiming to be seer is discussed... votes against caiter accumulate.
Page 30: Caiter and Cam debate seer results, item possession and the like. More votes against caiter.
Page 31: Just when the Caiter bandwagon gets rolling, Steph is brought up as a candidate for no real reasons. Waffling begins.
Page 32: Some ridiculous cyberstalking theories discussed, Steph shows up and claims she is Max. Then Trilt shows up and claims HE is Max. Illegal screen shot discussion ensues.
Page 33: Role pictures are discussed and links posted. Role descriptions are posted.
Page 34: Steph gets frustrated and votes to lynch herself.
@LetItSnow shows up to hint at the LIS rule (it is his theory that you ALWAYS lynch someone who tries to lynch themselves. I personally don't agree with it, but it is a well accepted thing, plus I don't agree with anything LIS says on principle..... there can only be one old man who is right, and that has to be me!... But, i digress).
Page 35: Majority rules are misunderstood. Steph reveals rest of role about reviving players.
Page 36: Villagers decide reviving villagers is a dumb ability. Some existential complaints, not much else.
Page 37: The great "dead posting strategy and talking to other dead" scandal is uncovered.
Page 38: Hmoo discovers bolding is a thing. Discussion ensues.
Page 39: Spreadsheet functionality discussed and tested. Role descriptions are re-examined. Some seem to think Lupin writes well. SOV wants to kill all players for forgetting about him, but Lupin talks him down off the ledge (not true, Lupin would never stop me from causing more death).
Page 40: Votes are tallied. The countdown begins...
Page 41: Lynching music begins. The fat lady is singing. The lynch is ended mercifully.
As today's lynch write-up is taking the form of lists, let's now list SOME of the things that y'all screwed up in this wonderful discussion (I omit anything that may tell you more information than you should now know).
Again, some items you got wrong:
1) That steph is a wolf.
2) That steph's role description was made up.
3) That reviving villagers for a few days is a relatively unimportant role. Please talk to your mentors on this, I .... just.... can't.... even...
4) That the dead are allowed to talk to each other.
5) That once majority is reached we automatically end the lynch.
6) That when someone checks in to SDN tells you if they are a wolf.
7) That screen shots are allowable.
And there is so much more, but I am constrained to not reveal any more than is necessary.
So it is that after a day of epic discussion - and I have to digress and tell you that in my experience that when villagers have an epic discussion like this, and go through many candidates and waffling, they almost ALWAYS get a wolf, because a lot of people exchanging ideas is how villagers win - somehow the villagers and their wolfy friends managed to get it wrong and lynch a fellow villager, and one with a pretty important role, and a ROLE THAT COULD EASILY have been verified overnight. But that was too much trouble, people had their votes in for steph so, ya know, might as well just lynch her, right? Right? No, wrong.
You have quite dumbly
lynched @SFsteph , Max, from "Where the Wild Things are" who could revive a villager for 2 days and PM them. And in case it is not blatantly obvious by now, or you are too lazy to read the rest of this harangue, Steph was a villager.
Now you can consider what conclusions you should draw from this lynch. I can only imagine what y'all will do next. Actually, I don't want to even speculate what you will do tonight and tomorrow.
