WW in Colorado

Before people get too invested in the idea that quiet people aren't likely to be wolves, I'd just like to remind everyone that Cray was quieter than usual last game, and said she was busy, and was a wolf. MJ is typically quiet, and he was also a wolf. Yes, we lynched quiet villagers last game. But WZ is right that there were also quiet wolves. If we don't pressure people to talk or defend their ideas, then it's easier for wolves to get away with being quiet and slipping under the radar.
To be fair, Cray was actually busy and we saw next to none of her in wolf chat until the end (when she was purposefully being quiet in hopes that I could pull off a win if she stayed low. So it's probably worth mentioning that wolves don't necessarily get quiet on purpose, but that doesn't mean actual quiet people with real excuses aren't wolves. I know Jimble was a wolf and crazy busy in Little Mermaid? One of those games from the last half a year.

Wtf is a "village code"? I keep seeing this get mentioned but haven't actually seen one in the few games I followed/read...

The theory that villagers would have similar/same wording/phrases/etc in role PMs that wolves would not know, so at least early on it could be provided as 'evidence' for some people being village.

I don't even think Skim played TLM.

Thanks, WW scorekeeper

There was a similar restriction in the Michigan game, though those players wrote "fun fact about Michigan" in every post instead of actually writing a fact

Michigan game mentioned - mark off your bingo cards, folks!

A strange voice in my head compelled me to point out that in the Michigan game, that restriction was temporary and a punishment for trying to village code. Wasn't a built in game mechanic.

Do we still get nickels if Michigan mods are mentioning the game?

Of course!

Also, I feel like we should get a penny for every post in this entire game because there were werewolves in Michigan first and they obviously spread to Colorado from there.

All these Michigan references... the noobs and me feel left out 🙁

I don't tend to keep count, but I recall several d1 votes that ended in wolf lynches that were more than sheer luck or RNG.

Anyway, touting that D1 is meaningless is, in my opinion, just a good way to make it meaningless.

I'm not saying it's always meaningless, or even that it's meaningless at all. Just saying I think attempting to glean significant and meaningful info from D1 for the D1 lynch is pretty tough and often either baseless or misconstrued when someone actually tries to interpret it. I think the D1 events and chatter becomes relevant later on, but it usually seems hard to gauge at the time.

I'm not sure what you mean by "role PMs". And how would they be sure to establish these codes without a wolf finding out and mimicking them?

A role PM is the message you got when this game started. And wolves find out when a villager reveals or if they're just good at reverse engineering.

I think it's a perfectly fair villager strategy to make prior wolves feel guilty, especially if it makes them slip up as wolves in the future.
Wasn't really thinking about it as a strategy move since I read it as a joke. And I don't really do multigame strategy 😉

Fight me. I never slip up.

(Just realized I still have my Baking WW avatar... does that count as a slip up?)

Definitely. Wolf confirmed, let the lynching begin. :diebanana:

And make gas even more expensive? 😱

That was a reference from the tots thread to make you feel like you were in on something. I know @SkiOtter would have appreciated it since you obviously posted the comic for the likes...

I probably should’ve paid more attention to the spec chat rather than focusing on the page count to defeat the wolf and dead chats :dead::hungover:

Also have oil prices stuck in my head for a while

I think it's that time zone vmh invented.
And as we all know, I am always correct
We’re in Colorado Capri. Get your **** together.

HEY those hookers from the underpass said they were clean! If you can’t trust a $2 hooker, who CAN you trust?

Def not you lot...
Haven't you seen the cost of living in CO? They're $5 hookers, minimum

Don't you mean the hookers from Colfax?

I was going to make this joke but you stole it from me
@MixedAnimals77 , @capri1722 , @vetmedhead is Jalesburg supposed to be Julesburg in the initial write-up?

Does People Midwife have a goatee and practice evil laughing a lot?
I need @LetItSnow to pop in with his rule about people being busy
He's probably too busy... 😉
Psh it's in the past, let it goooo

(I say, still twitching every time someone mentions DRoP)
I'm putting that game in my very sad hall of fame
Oooohhhh, now I have to read that game 😛
Wait don't read it and see how terrible I was at wolfing
Wait, maybe do read it and see how great the rest of my team was at wolfing
Just reminded me of this gem *gifs aren't working 🙁 *

I need to dig my bingo card up
Of course!

I believe the werewolves were in London first
Nice Broncos coffee 👍
