I remember you on a forum a while ago, runmimi. i went to yale undergrad...you couldn't pay me enough to go there for medical school. I mean, it's a great school academically. Beyond that, though, New Haven is seriously lacking in a number of ways. I know many medical students there and, although they all say that they are learning a lot, they seem to always say that there is a lack of much to do outside of class and that, in many ways, the curriculum is organized pretty superficially (they learn a lot, but don't necessarily cover material that will be present on the boards...and on the wards for that matter; instead, PhD's tend to lecture on their research and focus pretty narrowly on various topics).
By the way, this is just my opinion and i don't mean to say that yale isn't great for some people. After 4 years living in new haven, though, my friends and i were MORE than ready for a change. Just my 2 cents.
