Same here. The staff were hilarious. I've never felt more at home at a dental school before. It really exceeded my expectations.

The applicants were great too. Everyone I talked to was really nice and fun.

Ohio guys are the best! I am not from Dayton, but there was a guy in my interview group that played lacrosse at UD. And a guy who played foktball at a private school in Ohio

Right! Everyone I talked to was so friendly. There wasn't one person who didn't talk to me or was unfriendly. I loved our interview group :)

At the end of the interview schedule sheet I saw they put "documentation and candidate ranking", anyone knows if they made decisions by the end of the day? After my interview, I saw both interviewers were talking and documenting for a while ...

OMG that is a huge number of candidate to interview each day. I had my 1st one at Nova last week and only 15 ppl were interviewed for the day. Anyways, after reading all the feedback here I am really looking forward to have my interview there in 2 weeks :)

buckeye, are you in pre-dent club at OSU? I have an interview at UDM on 9/17 @ 10am. If you are the first meeting is tomorrow night at 6:30! Glad to hear the interview went well for you

I am in the pre-dent club but I'm not sure if I'll be active this year or not! I don't have too much time. But we can meet up and talk about the interview if you go here?

Do you have any idea if one interview group starts at 8am and another starts at 10am on Saturday Sept. 17? Mine is scheduled for 9/17 at 8am, so I wasn't sure if the time was just a mistake or not.

There's a hotel across from the MGM grand that has a deal with UDM where you get 95$ per night. I forgot what it's called. The holiday inn maybe? An admissions person told me that. You could call UDM and ask.

I stayed at the MGM grand and it costed me 300 bucks per night. The free valet parking was awesome though.

Was the interview 1 on 1? (or 2 faculty per person?)
 
Is it normal to have an interview on sept 17th and still not received the essay questions?
 
Thinking probably not, I'm interviewing then and I had to turn in my questions last friday.
 
They will be sending out two additional emails after the invitation email?-->confirmation email->questions?
 
To those interviewed recently, if I have the interview scheduled at 10am and the flight departure at 4:15 pm, is this possible? how long the whole interview process take? I know they said it takes 6 hours, but does it really take that long?

Yes it takes that long. You'll miss your flight. We finished at 4:15 exactly.

How about an 8am interview? Does it end at 2pm too? Are the individual interviews the last part?

Yeah y'all will end around 2:15. You're split into different groups and the groups interview at different times. So it could be the last part, or the first.

Hello everyone. I have an interview coming up and I am curious to know about UDMs interview process. From what I heard so far is its 1 on 1, open file. Curious to know what kind of questions they ask during the interview? Thanks so much in advance!

It's 2 on 1 actually. Half open, half closed. They have your application, but don't know your GPA and DAT. Easy, simple, generic questions.

Hi guys! Anyone interviewing oct 8th at 10 am?
 
What type of transportations should I use if I decided to stay at Motorcity casino Hotel ,which is 5 minutes away from the school, Lyft or car rental? whats the differences? Interview on Oct 15 at 10 am if anyone want to share a hotel and car.
 
Do the supplementary questions play any role on interview day?

Hi guys! Does anyone know if it would matter when you go for the interview? I was offered two dates one in Oct and one in Nov. If I go in Nov would that affect my chance at all? (sorry if it sounds like a silly question, I'm just quite nervous :p )
