Am I the only one taking it on this date? If so, that would be sweeeet cos I get to set my curve.
I got a nagging feeling that this thing is not going to be posted today.
their rep said the mcat office closes at 5:30...but he didn't know anything else about mcat score releases...too bad..
5:37 pm eastern and no scores yet...hang in there everybody!
don't do it...i tried this tactic last night, and let me tell you - waiting for your score while feeling kinda crappy from the night before is not fun. it just adds to the nervous quesiness i already feel.i dont know if i should start drinking now anyways only to find out that im not going to get my score today lol
the 8/07 ppl didnt get their scores until at least a day later then when they were supposed to.
From what i read on their forum if tis not up by 6...it doesnt look too good for today, they close their offices at 6pm.

Someone call/fax them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone verify scores being posted after 5:30 or 5:00 (whenever the MCAT office closes)? If so by what time were they posted?
If this has happened before, there is a chance for us today. If not, here's to waiting for tomorrow!

So maybe there is still hope?http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showpost.php?p=5488972&postcount=18 said:I just spoke with a very nice representative from AAMC. She said that from what she was hearing the scores would likely be released either by midnight tonight, or more likely, early tomorrow morning. But that they are still hoping for a release tonight. All of the scores are released at once for the test date.
I did a little digging. This is from a thread back in 2007

They better release the score today or tomorrow because "The MCAT Resource Center will be closed on Thursday, September 25th and Friday, September 26th as our staff prepares for registration opening for 2009 MCAT testing."
BTW, their opening hours are "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET"

I would Not take that person's response very seriously. AMCAS releasing scores at mid night would just be CRAZYYYY..I cant imagine an MCAT representative telling some one "oh yea check at mid night, that's when we will send them out". I dont know-- but i just find that verRYYY unrealistic.
I would check tommorrow morning guys if you guys dont get them today.
Not to ruin your happy thoughts, but one time the scores were released a week late. It was either last August or January, one of the two. And yes, the scores were released super late at night because they stayed late several days working on it. They actually posted on the Thx page that they were hoping to release by midnight. My test score was in that batch.
What happy thoughts are you talking about??? Every time amcas delays scores, no one is happy. Its not good for the process. That statement is
Inappropriate.

This month+ delay in scores is the reason they should get rid of the writing section. I mean, no school really gives a damn about the writing portion anyway.
Wow, lighten up man. My comment was in response to people saying there is no way it would be released more than a couple of days late. In my situation, that was very optomistic. Our scores were released over the weekend, late at night. Actually, on a Saturday night. In reality, we don't know what AAMC does or will do. The date set is TENTATIVE. I think your response was "Inappropriate." I am sorry if you took offense to my comment, it was sarcastic.
Thanks for the updateI talked to my pre-med adviser this evening, and she said that we would not be receiving our scores until tomorrow, per an email from AAMC (she is registered with AAMC as a nationally accredited pre-med adviser, and therefore must have the inside track on such information). Keep checking tonight, if you would like (I probably still will!!), but that is just what she received from the MCAT authorities. However, just after midnight is still considered "tomorrow," so here's hoping for that...
Try and keep your sanity tonight, and good luck to you all when you get your scores... Whenever that may be...

Same here. I've got a molecular genetics test at 4 pm. I'm still not ready for it.i havent been able to get any work done because of this... they need to post scores soon so i can stop checking every 10 mins
AAHhh..I know! How do they want us to have high GPA's with this torture??? heheheI know exactly how you feel. I have an analytical chemistry exam at 11:00 (EST), but I can't seem to stop hitting refresh every two minutes. Ahh!!
hahaha, i agree!!! 2 pts on each section! heheheWhat possible explanation could there be to delay the scores? We had only one administration and it wasn't exactly a popular exam date. The least they could do is add 2 complimentary points to our scores. Just saying....

Seconded.Thanks for calling ashish89
hey guys this is the official word on score release
I called this morning at 9:32 eastern time...an "mcat specialist" told me that the scores will be released TODAY.
Feel free to call the MCAT office yourselves to confirm this, but this is verbatim what the guy told me.
Good luck everybody.
