Step three was my favorite step - so easy!

Step 3 reminds me I dont have the stamina to test for 7+ hours.

I will agree def easier than 1 and 2... but ugh.. glad when itll be over.

Wondering did any of you guys sign up for ebates? I love that place.

Also if anyone is in the market for a new cell phone i found this website letstalk.com where almost all cell phones are free after rebate, I got my last phone with them and it was awesome.. Oh and if you go thru ebates you get $30 back! 🙂

yeah!! I'm interview hiatus until early Jan! phew... no one tells you how exhausting these things are

I've got my NYC interviews all bunched around the holidays since I knew I'd be in town anyway, so I don't have much of a hiatus...are you gonna write any more reviews?

I have a question - how do you avoid falling in love with a program too soon?

How do you define too soon? I still have a bunch of places to interview (including one of my on-paper favorites), but there are a couple places that gave me such a great feeling that I know they will be near the top of my list no matter what happens in the next few weeks. I take that as a good sign though...

As in "I wanna run screaming from the room."

Dontcha just love dogs??? 😍
Yeah, it's a good thing she's so cute and so good at looking "sad and neglected" (it's a Heeler thing) or she'd be out on her @$$ with the other working cow dogs! now she is firmly ensconced in front of the fireplace, working very hard at guarding the fire.

Update: Kangaroo dog is snoring, and yes, that was an elk rib cage her co-workers drug into the front yard.

I had my first interview today at a place where I hadn't rotated.

Who would have guessed that it's harder to get to know a place in 1 day versus 28?

I think you get a good idea of the residents and the PDs, but the attendings - they're kind of important but you don't meet too many of them!

I can't believe some people are already done with interviews.

I guess since we had such a hard time keeping the others alive, 3 is out of the league.

Still waiting for lab results.

step 3 is done.. that thing sucked the life out of me

And now having vertigo problems. Good thing I'm already sitting.

Yeah, but don't you think this will cause instability of the cosmos of SDN?

Maybe...we could always revive them. According to Gray's you can be dead for hours/days before coming back alive. :meanie:

Bummer, I hope you start feeling better soon.

Thanks. There's lots more going on than I have mentioned here because I don't think I want to hear any more differentials than I came up with myself.

Yeah, SDN diagnosis is probably worse than webMD

I didn't go visit that site either. That's why I've been staying away from the internet. I came up with stuff I remember from class. Typed in one word from one of the symptoms on a search, and decided I should stop while I was ahead.

Now that makes me feel better 🙄

All you have to do is learn all the inconsequential details of the biochemistry and pathophysiology of all the rare diseases and you'll be just fine.
