i did the community volunteer service when i was in high school, which is like 5-6 years ago lolPretty similar to my application from this past cycle. One thing that may come up is how long ago the community service experience was. I'd say the publication will definitely be a plus, my research was a big talking point during my interviews. Be prepared to discuss the research in detail even if they are unfamiliar with the field. Get some more shadowing in the next month or two if you can, either with GPs or specialists, depending on what you're lacking in. Write and have your personal statement reviewed and edit it accordingly. I think you are in a good position.
Then it's definitely time for a refresh. Sometimes experiences from before college are not even considered.i did the community volunteer service when i was in high school, which is like 5-6 years ago lol

It honestly can't hurt to include it. The worst that could happen is that they don't take those hours into consideration. I interviewed at DCG, Louisville, and Buffalo. Then should i even include that on the application? No? Also, what schools did you interview at?
Your chances are fine, nothing to worry about.
