guys I'm getting really nervous...

Submitted 7/7 and it's been "active" ever since. What's the next thing it should say after "active?" Is it "Verification" or "Verified??"

I'm in the same boat - Submitted 7/8 and it has been active ever since. From all the posts above, however, it doesn't look like anybody who submitted in July has been verified yet.

ya but my question to others is--after being 'active' what's the next thing you'll see? verified or "beginning verification process"....anybody know?
 
Mine went directly from "active" to "processed." I was checking several times a day, so I'm pretty sure it went directly to "processed." Also, the list of schools should be there on the main page.

mine was the same way. i've been checking several times a day since June 19 and today was the first time the front page said anything but "active". just jumped from "active" to "processed" with 17 of my 24 schools transmitted. woo-hoo.

tweetie, don't start worrying yet. i know it seems like forever ago since you submitted, but maybe you could work on some secondaries to take your mind off amcas. i should've done that, but i've been a big procrastinator lately.

Just updating my status... checked today and all of a sudden my application was processed. It also showed that it had been transmittting since July 9th. 26/33 are transmitted. :)

I have noticed that people are waiting on the same schools, meaning that maybe certain schools haven't started accepting the apps from AMCAS.

i'm pretty sure now that the transmission dates on the first page only reflect the dates that schools are accessing the amcas database of applications in general. the date when they actually access YOUR application will only be listed under the PRINT option on the left column. i.e. it explains why I had some transmission dates on the main menu BEFORE i was processed...arggghhhh. +pissed+

is it true that amcas is having difficulties? has anyone gotten verified within the last week or so?
 
i don't know about difficulties (although with AMCAS, it wouldn't surprise me in the least), but they emailed me today with a list of about 8-9 schools that don't want data sent by the normal AMCAS way..they want it all on paper instead, which AMCAS says it'll take care of. HA. As a result, there will be no dates of transmission posted on our "dynamic" welcome pages (hahaha). We'll see.....

Has anyone that submitted around july 8th been verified yet? My application is still "active" and my transcripts were in weeks before I even submitted. I'm starting to worry that AMCAS is up to its usual tricks with delays, lost transcripts, and the usual crap they pull on us for the $800 bucks I sent them. :mad:
 
AMCAS flew through all the June applicants but now it looks like they are just halfassin it the rest of the way.+pissed+
 
Waiting here too. Application went "in line to be verified" on July 10, no info. since then. Oh well, at least it gives my advisor time to get back off vacation with my LOR.

holy crap I just got processed!!!! My earliest Transmittal was TWO days after submission. Can you imagine I've been splitting my hair since for nothing???

-Made a small change (zip code) to the application on 7/9.

-Processed on 7/15, but app showed transmission dates to schools as early as 7/8.

this is weird. today is the first day that it said i was processed...but all my info was transmitted to schools long before? some were sent out on 7/8???which was about 2 weeks ago?! strange.

Is it just me, or is AMCAS sending the applications to schools as soon as you submit? I checked UCI's status and it says they got my primary on the 17th, the date I first submitted to AMCAS! I guess AMCAS is sending unverified apps first, then submitting a verified version later... I'm not even verified yet.

Anyone else have anything to add to this?

OK, how do you guys know that your stuff has been verified? I went to my AMCAS app and it just says I'm in line for verification, but I got an email from Jefferson Med today regarding the secondary. A little confused here
 
anybody who submitted amcas in july get verified yet? or secondaries, for that matter?
