i called amcas last week to ask about why schools are sending us secondaries already even though we're not verified/processed, and the person said that as soon as you submit your application, they send the biographical information ONLY (meaning no GPA or MCAT scores) to the schools. since most schools don't screen, they just send you a secondary once they have your name/email/address

I am getting really pissed off with AMCAS right now. I submitted on 7/9 with AMCAS having received transcripts two weeks prior to submission. My status page has not changed at all and nothing has been updated not even a mf'ing email to tell me wtf is going on. 😡

I want at least a f'ing e-mail to tell me what the hell they are doing. Have they even begun to verify, what is the gd hold up?! I figure four weeks is plenty of time to get verification done. I know applications are down compared to when I applied two years ago when my app was verified in two weeks. I know schools are receiving my app but is it verified or not? These people really irritate me.
