You might have some problems with Maryland (unless your a resident of that state). Otherwise, I think you will have a good shot.

I did plenty of shadowing (150 h) and two years volunteer work. I averaged 20 to 30 h a week working experince

I have applied to 26 schools. A few off the top of my head: West Case, NYU, Boston, All Ca school, UNLV, Arizona, Nova, Ohio State, Uconn, Temple, U-pen, Tufts, Columbia, Howard, Creighton, Maryland and many more.

sent AADSAS application sept 19, # in the 4600

Expience: $1300 for AADSAS minus $250 financal aid, $350 DAT, and $100 for DAT prep. materials. About $800 for secondary fees. I am flat a$$ broke.

I will update on secondary and hopefully interviews?!

you'd definately get an interview from UCONN. they told me that the SCI score is very importtant to them.

is that such a big factor in Meharry and Howard's selection? they don't care if you have good grades?
 
probably not all true, but thats what everyone hears about them.

So far, for 61 SDNers who posted their stats, the average AA is 20.8, and the average PAT is 18.7. I'm sorry, but that is just insane.

Dont worry, there will be one, if somebody else doesnt start it I will. Probably need to wait till within a week before Dec. 1st though so its not pushed way back in the list of threads. They had one last year and it was a great thread.

I want to go to OHSU. It's a great school with nice facilities and very high clinical standards. Look at their admissions stats, they are some of the highest in the country. Which schools do you consider "prestigious"?

Washington

Just to name a few. But if your counting on getting into your state school then I wouldn't have applied to many others either.
 
I'm with ajsmo. All those "prestigious" schools are expensive! Give me a solid state school any day.
