I'm in Washington DC so I don't think distance is playing too much of a role in whether or not you got the secondary today. Ranger, maybe your post office is only run by old grannies and they just take longer to distribute

Maryland includes a password with their e-mail... so you should probably e-mail them.

is it possible to get secondaries if your amcas app still says "active"?? i thought you had to be processed for schools do download your app. also, does anyone know if nymc screens?

"No, they don't screen" to the second.

Hi- I was wondering if there is a code or basic login for OHSU; since I'd like to get it done in the next two weeks and I am unable to access my mail from here (surprisingly in Oregon). If not no problem, but if so, that would be great! Thanks!

I had this problem last year. I called them and they emailed it to me as a pdf. You will need to find out from them if you passed the screen before they will send it.

Where in the world is UCLA? Anyone heard from them? Is UCSF sending out masses of secondaries to out of staters yet? I'm still waiting...

By the way, shouldn't U of MN Duluth be on the list? I've heard of people getting that one, although I didn't apply myself.

i just called HMS to ask them about a LOR question and they said " just to let you know, we're not sending out the secondary until the beginning of September!!!

The admissions office has stated that they are only mailing out 50 invitations per day to fill out the Case secondary. You'll like have to wait. But if you want to give it a go: http://iapply.cwru.edu/ (there's no guarantees that it'll work for you if they haven't sent you an invitation)

is anyone having trouble with the NYU secondary? I try to continue after filling in course work and it tells me it cant read the "sockets" or something. What is a socket? Is that like a little sock? Can someone tell me what the essays for NYU are or if there are any? I am desperately trying to get my secondaries lined up and organized but I am still having trouble comprehending information since the MCAT on saturday. So if someone could answer these questions I would really really appreciate it. Oh and if someone wouldnt mind writing my secondaries, and paying the app fees that would be fabulous too!!!

Sockets are a networking term. You should probably contact NYU and see if they're having any problems with their servers.
