I know I am late in the cycle...but I am so excited about my interview coming up on Thursday!!!!!!!

Or, maybe your interviewers weren't available to discuss you at this months meeting (we were pushed from Dec to Jan, so its possible that you were then pushed to Feb). Or, like you suggested, maybe your application did require some extra discussion.

Anyway, I have my fingers crossed for you. Either way, you definitely have good choices so far 🙂

I saw that you posted on this thread and I was so sure that you had gotten your acceptance letter!! I really hope some news comes soon - Good luuuuuck!
 
Were acceptance letters sent Priority mail? and WL/Reject letters sent standard?

I'm trying to figure out if no news might be more likely to be bad news at this point (ie. priority mail would be here by now).

Ill check for you later - I don't remember. Maybe you weren't discussed at this month's meeting, so no news = no news.
 
To Acceptees: Congratulations, must be so terrific 🙂!!

To Current Interviewees: has anyone scheduled an interview date for March or April? If so, when was your application complete and when did you receive your invitation?

To the Knowledgable: Does anyone know (roughly) when the last interview invitations will be sent out? What dates will likely be available and how many days are there left? Roughly how many applicants interview per date? Even anecdotal information would be useful 🙂.

Any information would be stellar 🙂!

The status of interview slots varies from cycle to cycle, and I doubt anyone has such information besides Dean Wofsy himself. They are still being handed out, though I don't know for how long. The number of interviewees per date ranges from 6ish to 18ish, so it's hard to predict as well.
 
Congrats to everyone who has been accepted and good luck to those who are waiting!

Has anyone been rejected post-interview? Or has everyone been put on the "high priority" list if not accepted?
 
Woot got my call today. Still don't know where the letter is though... glad my interviewer was nice enough to let me know by phone. 👍

lol, yea in retrospect that would've been unnecessary. I'm glad I made that call when I did (like the day before my interview).

Well -- it's nice to have a public (re: likely cheaper) option, and an option in CA. But having lived on both coasts, to be honest right now I'm leaning toward getting my edumacation in the east. I hope to be re-united with my birth-state someday, though. And money could change everything. But this is the wrong thread for that 🙂. I'm just happy to be accepted.

Thanks for your input, Ariodant! I really, really, realllyyyyyyyy would LOVE an interview. As the end of the cycle draws near, the wait becomes a bit unnerving 😉. (-- and that's an understatement 😉)

I'm assuming that no one's scheduled an interview for March yet, but definitely speak up if you already have 🙂! Other information would be super terrific!

The next batch of interview invitations are probably going to be sent out soon, I assume. (Hopefully 😉). Good luck to all 🙂!!! We're totally in this together, for better (or for worse. But ideally, for the better 😉).

Congratulations again to everyone receiving stellar news!!! Must be sooo incredibly fantastic 🙂! Hopefully, the hopeful will be able to add more cheer to this thread soon 🙂.

I'm hoping the next batch goes out soon too and that we are the lucky ones who they would like to "get to know better." Good luck leNord.
 
Darn. got the high priority letter today. we'll see...hear again in late april. still going to interview at stanford so may get a chance to get back up to the bay area.

no idea why the letter came when it did, but i got my acceptance yesterday in the mail!! yeeehawww!!!!!!!! i interviewed in early november and received my acceptance almost exactly three months later. that is a long time to wait but i am so happy i did! btw i live in the bay area, so perhaps other letters are on their way out? 😍😍😍
 
Did anyone get further clarification on "high priority?" It seems that they are either issuing acceptances or high priority waitlist. Will there be any other categories? What are the chances following high prioritizing?

anyone think there is any chance these guys are still offering interviews, i got a couple late ones so now i am checking out other schools to see if there is hope

i should probably expect my rejection in the mail in the next couple weeks though right, how long are they going to hold me on the line?
 
i was there first week of jan also

i think earliest they said we could hear was towards the end of feb...so basically march like every other school im waiting on...
 
if anyone was curious, they are not offering interviews anymore, i called and asked

So, it looks like, then, that the February 20th-ish letters have gone out....:scared: I'm in SF. I'll let y'all know if I hear anything.
 
Has anyone completed the phone (or in-person) interview for PRIME and can give me some insight into it? Thanks!

Not yet. Ugh. Based on the timelines posted by SDNers who have already been accepted/HP-listed post-interview in December and January, UCSF should be sending out another batch of acceptances this week. :xf: I'm trying to convince myself that I probably won't hear anything until March or April (2nd week of Jan. interviewee), and if I hear any news before then, that'll be a special treat. 🙂

It has been quiet! When I saw this thread bumped I thought somebody had heard something. 😛

Last month's batch of acceptances were sent out 1 month ago yesterday. It seems like very few SDNers interviewed at UCSF around the time we did (early-mid January), and only htownpremie has posted regarding notification. Most SDN peeps appeared to have interviewed Oct-Dec, or in Feb. So, we're in kind of a void. 🙂

There's a plausible chance that acceptances went out this week and are in the mail. Unfortunately for us, all of the SDN people who called the admissions office a lot have already received their notification. If only I was as brave as they were! :laugh:
 
I interviewed on Monday and they said letters should be going out just after March 15th or so...for those of us who interviewed in February.
 
Rejected again! It's cool though - I'm pretty happy with the way things worked out. Good luck to everyone else who's waiting!

I didn't, but I did get an opportunity to send in a secondary. When I spoke to the admissions dept. this week, they told me that letters were sent out at the end of the month (so I was kind of expecting this). But good luck you guys!

I interviewed right in the middle of January (Jan 12th) and I still haven't received any news, good or bad.

in the interest of full disclosure...

i called in because im out of the country (they have a strict snail mail only policy), they said packages were mailed out yesterday so...check your mail 🙂
