Hey does anyone remember how to send updates post interview?

I know that the admissions director addressed this issue, but I can't remember the specifics.

Send her a brief e-mail.

I think there is also a place on the interview page where you can upload an update.
 
Has anyone gotten an invite after being put on the pre-interview hold list?
 
Probably just means your interviewers haven't submitted their comments. Wouldn't stress too much.

Perhaps, but I find this rather unlikely. The interviewers and I are still in close contact, and from my conversations with them, it seems unlikely that they have not submitted their reviews yet.

No idea what's going on, but it's probably not good.

You're one of those people...unfortunate. I thought there weren't any crazies during my interview day... but I guess I missed you🙂
 
No idea, Probably not until after winter break?


On a different note, has anyone had the "congratulations on your interview" message disappear, and then not receive an acceptance?
Is it indicative of an acceptance? or just a decision?

Mine went away a week ago and still no news. I interviewed at the beginning of Nov. So yep im getting ansy.

I don't think so. You should just order transcript from your school to be sent to Upstate. Don't forget to include your AMCAS ID number on the transcript order form, which should be attached to the transcript (you can type up a cover letter with necessary info and ask the school to include that w/ your transcript when they send it out). As a safety measure, a few days or a week after ordering transcript, send an update email to [email protected] to tell them you sent in your final transcript, and ask them to let you know when they receive it.
 
Anyone who interviewed 11/15 hear anything yet? My interview acceptance notification is still on the status site, but no interview page. Getting anxious!!!

Nothing yet.... SO ANXIOUS!!!! Either today, tomorrow, or Monday. Tuesday will be 4 weeks and they told us we can call on the 4th Tuesday, right? Haha... Can't wait any longer!!
 
I only have this one interview so far, is that bad? 🙁
Submitted most of my secondaries early/mid October.
 
I interviewed 11/2 and still haven't heard anything, so I wouldn't worry too much 11/15-ers.

Someone on page 11 interviewed 11/7 was accepted.

Any other guys from early November?

During my interview, the "dean" came in and spoke about the process and said that on the 4th Tuesday we SHOULD call to find out whats going on... I'm sure as hell calling first thing Tuesday morning. Haha. #CantWaitAnyLonger

Called them this morning. They said just to be patient, that they are running behind schedule, don't worry, etc. I would imagine I'll hear next week (adcom meets on Wednesdays).

Should have just suggested to them to take everyone who interviewed in Nov.. That would clear up their schedule.

I agree with this suggestion. I mean just one email to all nov interviews....things would get done so quickly lol

Hey guys, i was wondering if you can look to your Upstate page to help me out.
Under "processed applications" we have our Fall 2012 entry. To the right of that under "Application Preference" do you have anything entered? Mine just says Not entered although I did turn in my campus preference sheet on the day of the interview (11/15).

Mine is still showing "Not Entered" and I've been accepted to Syracuse already. I don't think that it will ever change.
 
Yes, mine says not entered

I think the important thing is the "congratulations" note.
It seems that if it disappears, it's pretty much an acceptance.

I don't think we've seen a single contradiction to it.
Unless I missed a couple posts on here....

Yeah it seems that everyone who had the message disappear was accepted.

And everyone who didn't have it vanish was either put on hold or not offered a seat...

I really doubt it.. But I'm hoping that's the case. Guess we'll just see.

11/15er here. Interview congrats disappeared today I believe.
 
Anyone interviewing on 12/19 with me? Any thoughts on Syracuse? I've never been there but I'm super excited for the interview! 😀
 
i second that i haven't seen a case when the interview congrats msg disappeared and applicant didn't get an acceptance... so i *think* that disappearing msg = acceptance... until some one else says otherwise...

I don't really buy into the "message disappearing= acceptance" theory. It probably just correlates to when your file is complete and ready to be reviewed. But anyway, the admissions committee meets every other week on tuesdays usually, and they didn't meet last week so more decisions will be made on tuesday! I imagine they call extra meetings when they fall really far behind.
 
Who thinks we'll hear back on Monday? Getting tired of waiting but don't exactly want to hear bad news either...

Considering that people who didn't have the message disappear still received a decision of hold/reject, this doesn't really make sense.

If the message disappearing was indicative of a decision, then Everyone's message would have disappeared. Which does not seem to be the case...
