Well congrats you will you have an awesome experience. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Dartmouth. Interviewing in September made that letter definitely unexpected but I'm looking forward to a new and exciting change.

Got my rejection yesterday. To those still in the mix, Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor -
 
Dr. Samuelson said "No news is good news" at this stage. Saw him Saturday. He also said the adcom is meeting one last time this Tuesday.
 
Should I update the school with my grades from last semester or is that looked down upon? They have probably already made their decision regarding my admission which is the main reason I haven't sent them in.

At this point, not worth it. They "accept" updates, but the admissions committee "does not see them." I would update only if you get in. They seem big on trusting/requiring you to complete the outlined course of study you proposed in the application.

Anyoneknow what time of day the committee's meetings are? (ie, will we see status updates on Tuesday or Wednesday for the decisions made at Tuesday's meeting?)

Hi all, have been viewing this thread intensely lately and finally decided to sign up.
Just found out today that I was waitlisted. So for the roll that would be:
crazysciencekid-ID-February-March 26th-postal
Utah is definitely my top choice and I hope all those ID applicants who plan on going elsewhere can withdraw their names. Anyone have any idea about waitlist statistics for ID applicants? Thanks!

They don't reveal your rank. They say you are given a rank, but it is kept secret...not sure why. I haven't been able to see from past years how many ID applicants get in off the waitlist, but I am hoping at least a few.

OK. My wife just checked the mail. No letter. As was posted earlier, no news is good news. Good luck everyone. What did the mail hold for everyone else?

PS-If you are accepted and plan on matriculating, please be sure to post that information.

no news, checked the mail and nothing. Hoping for the best but can't help but feel down with no news, anyone anxious waiting around?

Oh yeah...you are far from alone.

I keep debating calling the adcom office to find out when they meet today and what time they expect to post the admissions from the meeting, but then I chicken out...

At least there is SDN to keep me busy. . .

Technically, waiting until mid to late next week depending on how long the mail system takes.

It is definitely a long wait. Doesn't make sense to me that they want to be the last ones to issue acceptances....odd.
 
The online portal seems to be down. Can anyone else replicate the issue? I wonder if they are updating it...
