Did they send out more acceptances since December's???I met with the Dean of Admissions to discuss my interview and someone I know just had an interview. Apparently it's about 4 more weeks...
Thanks for clarifying 🙂No, I don't think so...it's just from December then February then a waitlist is formed in march I think..however, greenville, unlike some schools will never offer more than 53 acceptances, so being on the waitlist is not the end of the world..
Well, its getting to be about "mid-February".... Any thoughts on another round of acceptances?
UGH! I was hoping it would be this week 🙁. It's frustrating not even knowing when...I think it might be closer to end of Feb.. i talked to admissions last week and it seems like they still haven't figured out an exact meeting date but it should be during the third or fourth week of this month.
sorry that doesn't really clear it up much but maybe someone else has some newer info.
+1seriously, this school is going to give me a heart attack.
I wonder.... will we find out this week????
Apparently, recent interviewees received a "still pending" email this morning. I still hope they'll send out acceptances later today or tomorrow...if they already haven't done so.Yep, E-mailed them and they said an acceptance round is coming this week, then in the end of march.

I interviewed end of December, and I haven't heard anything.
Shaft meaning rejection or continuing to be evaluated?
I got the continuing to be evaluated email this morning soon after I posted that... :/
SameI got the evaluating E-mail.
Did you get in somewhere else? I've put down my deposit at another school, but still have a fleeting hope I might, just maybe, will be accepted...I withdrew my application..
Alright, quietest thread ever... last acceptances go out this week, right? I've practically given up hope at this point, though...
yeah most likely fridaySo what day are we expecting this... Friday?
I'm guessing if you get the call, it will be sometime this afternoon (if I remember correctly from the interview day).Any ideas what time it will be or if its already gone out? Hard to count down without knowing when....
I don't think anyone has heard anything yet. I'm sure they're just making the wait list so that's taking up some time. Hopefully we will hear something today or tomorrow by the latestWell, I've heard nothing. So, I'm pretty much chalking that up to a rejection.
4. By March 30 of the matriculation year, March 15 for M.D.-Ph.D. programs, each school or program have issued a number of offers of acceptance at least equal to the expected number of students in its first-year entering class and have reported those acceptance actions to the AAMC Section for Medical School Application Services.

Sorry to tell this to you all, but AAMC Traffic Regulation for Adcoms #4:
Me too. I wonder if they rejected anyone?Just got the email - waitlisted
That would be interesting to know... should we contact admissions for that info? Or Dr. Catalana?According to last year's thread, some rejections are made but it seems like most were initially placed on the alternate list. Toward the end of the cycle they sent out additional rejections to make the alternate shorter.
Also, I believe it is possible to contact them and find out what quartile you are in.

I've emailed with Dr. Catalana, and he is quick to respond and helpful. I'll probably try that. I just don't want to bother if they normally don't give that information out, but I guess it wouldn't hurt. Thanks! To be honest, I don't know what's best - in the past I've spoken with both the admissions office and Dr. Catalana.
