This is soo odd, I actually called and they said your status will come in the mail by next tuesday! Did you get the hold status by email?
 
tuesday after the 3rd interview or the tuesday coming up
 
As hopeful as I may be, I'm just going to concentrate on my Touro interview now. However, I'm not ruling any miracle which will happen next week.:xf:

Toay is gone. Yet no word from western, I only wonder what this could mean. Whatever the rsult of the 1/28 interview is, I still think we deserve to know by now. This is so not fair

email may not get you a response, phone call would be faster. I think it's appropriate to call since Jan 28th interview is almost a month ago.

No for sure call them, when i called her she said its impossible that u didnt get it the email because all the results are out ... And they sent emails to every one.... So if u just tell her she will resend the email to u again ... She will not give u ur status on the phone but she will send u an email again ...

The tuesday coming up. I talked to one of the counselors, she said they mailed my status last week. I don't live that far from pomona so i don't understand what is going on.
 
Hey guys, i got accepted to WesternU, interviewed 1/28 and got my response a week ago but didnt post it here, but anyways im very excited and hope to meet all of you wen the semester starts.

On another note, how many of u have beeen admitted to both Western and USC? i got into both and am having a rough time deciding between the two, ultimately i came to the conclusion that because of location, curriculum and the feeling that ill be happier at Western I chose Western, anyone in the same situation?

What do you think about us that havent heard a word from western? What do you think this silent treatment could mean?
If you dont mind, how did you get the acceptance,phone, email, or mail? And what day did you get it exactly?

to be honest i dont know what it means if you havent heard anything back, but i think that if you would have been accepted you should have known by now, i would contact the school and ask for ur status. I got the accceptance thru email on 2/14

It is, and trust me ive slept at night thinking and thinking about wer to attend. I still haven sent the deposit for either one so the option for both is still open, you seem quite surprised that im choosin western over usc, may you explain why, do u think the schools dont come equally wen comparing them. i know usc is more reputable but id like to know ur thoughts.

Last year my friend was accepted to both schools and she chose USC. Last time I talked to her she said that I regret my decision bc I'm paying a lot of money to teach myself the material. I heard from different friends at USC (p1 and p3 ) that western's program is far better.
My first choice is USC and its not because it's a better school. It's only bc I don't want to move due to my personal issues. Honestly I personally like to go to a school that I'm not scared of using it's restrooms!!you have to choose a school that works for you best.

why...i went der last week to check the area again and i must admit it is really guetto iin some areas, but i live in santa ana and there are many guetto areas here as well...so idk how dangerous it is to live in pomona.

Wth?!? Yeah, I got my hold status via email...and so did everyone else that day lol. That is soooo weird that you would hear by mail. They told us that we would hear monthly updates by written mail though..

Congrats on your acceptances! Personally, I would choose the school depending on which area of pharmacy you're going into (and of course, where you fit in). If you just want retail/independent pharmacy, then either is fine. I think if you chose the industrial/clincal route, then I'd go with USC. My cousins/friends graduated from USC a few years ago, and they got multiple job offers before they even graduated...that school is AMAZING with networking, and we all know how important that is nowadays. Good luck with whichever you choose though!

Yeah, I really don't think Pomona is that dangerous; especially compared to the area around USC and other schools!!!
 
I guess if you compare USC main campus to Pomona, it's not that bad to live in Pomona. Just saying that there are much better choices that are relatively affordable around Western outside Pomona, you really don't have much choices outside USC.

How is the whole interview process like? What kinds of questions did they ask? What was the writing section like?

Is it safe to assume that if I haven't heard anything back yet that I'm not going to be invited for an interview? Cutting close to the final date🙁

I think there was one case that someone cancelled and Daniell called someone 2 days before the interview to invite.

maybe all the schools are playing games with each other and seeing who accepts who.
 
i have an interview tomorrow. can some tell me who many people usually are invited to each session? and is there free lunch?

I think schools in socal usually have 100% bachelor degree by the time they enter class. Keep in mind...usually.

But during interview, it's hard to predict because many people apply during their junior year in college also.
