Does anyone know if schools typically send out all emails/phone calls within one day or is it varied? I'm just wondering because I've seen a few schools I've applied to on here and gradcafe, and it's making me a little nervous that I haven't heard back from them now. Thanks!

IME--There's typically a meeting among faculty to talk about applicants people want to bring in. Some people like to call right away after that (I do), while others are applicationed-out and need to catch up on other stuff for a bit, and call a day or two later.

A few people posted on TGC that they received invites from Univ of Florida, and one person posted that their PoI from Stony Brook reached out for a phone interview.
