Yea I know.🙁 I had the same thought! I was hoping it was for a different site or wondering if they were sending out invites in waves like other sites have been. No news is good news? :drowning:

Don't freak out! I got the email at around 7 am, but it looks like they're sending out personal emails, so I imagine that it'll take some time.

Also, just thought I'd share this: the internship coordinator for one of my sites emailed me to confirm my requested interview date and asked that I reply back with a confirmation of the confirmation, which I did within minutes. She later emailed back (to confirm my confirmation of her confirmation) and thanked me for responding so quickly, and I just laughed and laughed and laughed because y'all my phone is literally glued to my hand and I'm refreshing my email on my laptop like every 7 minutes, so yeah. I respond pretty quickly.

Has anyone else heard from UW-Madison's UCC? History shows that invites and rejections go out the same day, but I haven't heard anything.

Know what would be incredible? What if the portal showed how many applications there had been to each site this year?! :idea: At least for the ones already past their due dates!

Ok, so the only sites I have any hope of hearing from early this week (hope as in, they might make contact, not as in I'm a good candidate :laugh:) are:

1) Medical College of Georgia-Charlie Norwood VA, and
2) University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute.

Any fellow "waiters" on either of these sites?

My new favorite game to play is "let's make a phone call to or go in the other room without bringing my phone to tempt fate and have a site contact me." I was fully prepared to abruptly hang up on the gynecologist just now so I could take a call from an internship site. No such luck.

OMFG Y'ALL IT WORKEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. I HUNG UP WITH THE GYNO AND THEN GOT THIS, I HAVE EFFING POWERSSSSS.

My gynecologist's office has called me twice already about scheduling an appointment. I haven't returned those calls. Listen lady, my heart is what is in need of services right now. My lady parts are fine. Leave me alone until February.

Thinking things definitely doesn't make them true. Because if it did, the obsessive thinking, "Someone will give me an interview today," would be netting SOMETHING.
