Re: suits and whatnot-- Ann Taylor and Banana Republic were both having 50% off sales on everything for Black Friday and I think it's still going for Cyber Monday. I got a new postpartum suit at an awesome price that I'm praying fits because I'll have no time to find another option if it doesn't.

Sure! Most of mine haven't notified yet, but I have received a few rejections and have one interview so far at the Richmond VA! I applied to VAs all over the country, but the majority are in the south/southeast. How about you?

Re tattoos: I have three - in the middle of one right now (well, I'm between sessions right now). I'm glad the VA likes tattoos.

Re sales: I missed 50% off BR?!? At least my husband will be glad (teehee!).

BR and Ann Taylor have been having lots of sales lately so keep an eye on them! I have noticed Ann Taylor's is typically over the weekends. I managed to get my suit from them online for 50% off, but did have to take it into the store and exchange sizes/pant fit.

I can't buy new clothes online - I have to try everything on, get the feel of the fabric, and see if it "sparks joy" (Kondo, 2016). I hit the AT sale and bought three super cute tops. If I get Salem, you'll likely see one of them 🙂

I'm scared and excited simultaneously that UCC notifications are finally starting. Good luck fellow UCC applicants who have been in limbo.

Sorry to jump in on the convo, but I'm late to the party and happy to see some others who applied to VA's. 🙂
We have a few of the same (Gainesville, Cleveland, Hampton). I applied to three or four in Cali, and those are my long-shots as well!

OMG, I actually named my dog Dexter. Definitely inspired by the show of the same name. Inspired to name my dog that, to be clear, not inspired to murder people. 👍

I may have purchased, like, 4 pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of pants in different sizes, and 3 jackets in different sizes. With plans to return what doesn't fit before my credit card spontaneously lights itself on fire. So, there's one strategy.

As for Salem VA track question, I believe they didn't have tracks and it was just a general application.

Bless those of you who are dropping obscure Gilmore Girls references. They just replayed every single one of the 153 episodes last week and it was amazing.

Same - my Dexter is a goofy redhead who (having come to my home with a post-surgery drainage hose) spent the first few hours splattering blood everywhere. I love my doggies!!

I have the feeling that until I hear from every site, I am going to spend most of my time being unproductive and staring at email.

OMG - I got so many emails over night because of this! And I woke up to every. single. one. I checked to see if it was a site every time! They became part of my dreams and I was having to check immediately so I could reply as fast as I could to get my dates. What is happening to me????!

Has anyone heard from (or know anyone who has heard from) Henry Ford or Alexian Brothers for the pediatric neuropsych tracks?
