Haha! I tried to just have shoulders up view on Skype because I also use my hands a lot! Luckily, there was no cutting out! They do understand and if a site got annoyed with it, then you’re not worth their time!

I haven't heard from them, either, but I have seen eariler in the thread where one person has reported an invitation and another person has reported being placed on a waiting list. Also, previous years' threads seem to indicate that there are people that never hear from them... I'm assuming that the fact that I haven't heard from them is equivalent to a rejection at this point. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
I've been telling myself, "The Match isn't until ages from now, no need to start getting anxious yet"... Nope, that email ruined. Officially starting Match Anxiety now.

BTW: Would it be breaking APPIC rules if, at my dream site, I answer the "where do you see yourself in 5 years" questions with "right here, celebrating five years of bliss!"??? Too obvious???😉
I said something more extreme without being asked a question or prompted in any way at my first interview. It was my super smooth way of saying goodbye. "Goodbye and hopefully I'll be seeing you again in the future, like for the next 30 years or so..." To an interviewer who mentioned she had been working at the site for over 30 years.

I kind of thought the same. On the other hand, it's been making the rejection go down more smoothly.... So, are they rude or are they super kind in a really underhanded way? The world may never know... 😛

Omg! I happened to be passing by my DCT’s office right after I got it and I told him that we got that email and he was like “Oh no...Greg >.<!” And I died!!!! Lol
I was literally about to post and ask if anyone heard from them!

When I'm wondering if yet another site is not going to honor the notification deadline they set for themselves and I have to reflect on my choices.

I have had 3 interviews since Friday, been on 6 planes in the last 3 days, flown 3,948 miles, and just ate like 17 Christmas cookies my mom made.
