I was accepted when decisions first came out in Feb. but got the scholarship email today

Not to rain on anybody’s parade, but...
I interviewed on Monday and received the emails Tuesday and Friday. I highly doubt receiving these emails has anything to do with the admission decision.
I was told that after interviewing, my file goes to a third reviewer who will summarize my app + interviewer’s notes and recommend me as high priority or regular (so he basically meant I interviewed for the WL :/ ). He also said not to expect a response before the end of the month because they’re on break.

Hope this eases your nerves!

I was one of the first interview dates that was canceled and I just got an email to reschedule to this week. I think they are just going in order of date I wouldn’t worry too much I bet they’ll reach out really soon!

Not sure what exact percentages but it seems like a majority of HPWL were accepted at least on SDN the last 2 years. No idea about the normal WL as this seems to vary year to year. I’m assuming Einstein will have to accept more from waitlists though since it seems they won’t be able to interview nearly as many people this spring like usual.

Anyone know when the admissions office will be open again? I want to submit an additional LOR but I am not sure how to submit it and want to ask them. They're currently not answering phone or email.

Passover ends on Thursday, so maybe Friday if not next week?

I was supposed to interview on April 6th and so they scheduled the zoom interview for the 6th as well. I guess I got lucky?

No other news today then? I submitted an update yesterday and got a response saying it had been acknowledged.

I wonder how many people have heard back recently. We know of the one R because we were updated but no As or any other movement. It seems they really only start sending out decisions close to deadlines. So I feel like the closer to april 30th the sooner we’d hear back. I’m def not used to waiting more than a month for a reply so this is new to me lmao
