Don't pay to much attention to HPWL vs WL. My friend was in WL and he still got in the middle of May. As far I heard that almost all only get WL on the first release (typically Feb 1). He was ORM/OOS.

Is there usually a lot of movement in the WL? Do you know your place in the WL as an applicant or do you just have to hope that there will be enough movement to get off of the WL? Thanks!

Ngl me and at least two of my friends got As on Feb 1… I wouldn’t read too much into it. Good news is Einstein definitely has a lot of WL movement!

Even if they maintain a WL number most programs don't let you know where you stand! Einstein doesn't give you WL numbering. My suggestion is to be persistent, if you are wait listed and make sure you keep letting them know that this is the program you want in (Need to be honest if that's what your real intention is.)
